  • When Ben comes out of the sorting office in his bee keeping gear, Pat makes a reference to two science fiction franchises: When he says "I come in peace.", his hand signal is a reference to the sci-fi series "Star Trek". He then says "Do you need to phone home?" which is a reference to the 1982 film "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial".

  • From inside their bee keeping masks, you can see that Pat and Ben's lips do not move when they talk, except in the close-ups when Pat says "Hi, Amy." and when the bees fly after Amy's van.
  • Rosie makes sheep sounds.
  • PAT 1 is not in the sorting office car park after it arrives.
  • Even though the series is now completely animated by Mackinnon and Saunders Ltd., stock footage animated by Cosgrove Hall in the previous series is used when Pat and Jess get aboard the helicopter.
  • As the crowd watch Pat try to unhook the hanging basket, none of them move their lips when they gasp.
  • In two shots when Pat unhooks the hanging basket, everyone in the market square is frozen in place.
  • Because Mrs. Goggins is sitting next to Lauren as she drives up to Thompson Ground in the bus whilst Julian, Meera, Bill and Lucy are sitting in the back, there is nowhere else for Lizzy, Charlie and Sarah to sit and so they are nowhere to be seen until they arrive at the farm.
  • As everyone cheers Pat at Thompson Ground, no one's lips move in time with what they are saying.
